Jazz Drive – Privacy Policy
At Jazz Drive, your privacy and trust are our top priority. We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling your data responsibly, securely, and transparently. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our cloud storage platform (“Jazz Drive” or “Service”), operated by Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited (“PMCL”, “Jazz”, “we”, “our”, “us”) in compliance with Pakistan’s regulatory requirements, including those set by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). By using Jazz Drive, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, you may discontinue use of the Service at any time.

By creating an account or using Jazz Drive, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in this Policy and in accordance with applicable laws of Pakistan. Jazz may update this Policy from time to time to reflect new features, service improvements, or legal obligations. Updated versions will be published on our platform, and we encourage users to review the Policy periodically.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect information necessary to deliver, maintain, and improve Jazz Drive, ensuring a secure and seamless user experience.

a. Account & Sign-Up Information
When you subscribe to Jazz Drive, we collect information such as your mobile number to verify and authenticate your identity. You may also choose to sync Jazz Drive with third-party apps or services (e.g., Photos, Videos, Music, Documents, Contacts, Facebook, Dropbox, or Instagram).

b. Log Data
When you use the Service, we automatically collect diagnostic data through secure third-party tools. This may include:

• Your IP address, device name, and operating system version
• Configuration details, timestamps, and error reports
• App usage statistics and technical logs

This information helps us troubleshoot issues, ensure reliability, and improve the app’s performance.

We collect data about how you use Jazz Drive, including: Your selected storage plan and subscription activity Usage history, traffic data, and in-app interactions This allows us to personalize services, manage subscriptions, and, with your consent, offer relevant value-added services or promotions.

f. Location Information
We may collect your approximate location using: Your IP address, GPS (when enabled), or Network-based data. This enables Jazz Drive to provide location-based tools and services. You can disable GPS at any time to opt out of location tracking.

g. Feedback & Ad-hoc Information
We may occasionally conduct surveys or request feedback to improve user experience. Participation is voluntary.

h. Aggregated & Anonymized Data
We may anonymize collected information to generate insights and performance reports for internal analysis and business planning. This data cannot identify any individual user.

3. App Permissions
To provide enhanced functionality, Jazz Drive may request limited device permissions such as: Camera or Microphone – for uploading and syncing media files. Contacts or Accounts – for syncing or account verification. Storage Access – to save, manage, or retrieve files. Location – to support location-based features. All permissions are requested transparently and are used solely for their intended purpose.

4. Data Protection and Security
Your personal information is stored and processed securely in compliance with industry standards. We use encryption and other safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. While no digital platform can guarantee 100% protection, Jazz continuously monitors and updates its systems to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

5. Service Providers and Third-Party Access
We may engage trusted third-party vendors or partners to support Jazz Drive operations, such as: Hosting and infrastructure management Analytics and diagnostics Payment processing or customer support These partners: Have access only to the information required for their specific function. Are contractually obligated to maintain data confidentiality and security. Cannot use your data for unrelated purposes.

6. Data Retention and Content Deletion

Content Deletion

• Users can delete their stored content manually at any time.
• Deleted files remain in the “Trash” for 45 days before permanent removal.
• Users may also empty the Trash for immediate and irreversible deletion.

Account Deletion
You may unsubscribe or permanently delete your account by emailing customercare@switch.com.pk. Upon unsubscription, you will have 10 days to download your stored data before permanent deletion.

7. Links to Other Sites
Jazz Drive may include links to external websites or third-party content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of any external websites they visit.

8. Children’s Privacy
Jazz Drive is not intended for children under 18 years of age. Minors may use the Service only with the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Cookies help improve performance and enable personalized experiences. Disabling cookies may affect features such as syncing, access to premium tools, or other interactive services.
